So Good
Certified Sophrologist
“We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one.”

Your second life starts here
My experience at the University of Life has opened many doors for me through time and Sophrology has enabled me to overcome the stress of these changes.
I spent over 10 years in the funeral business in Paris as a Master of Ceremonies at Père Lachaise then as a Funeral Director specialising in protocol managing ceremonies for Heads of State, VIP's, actors and politicians to name but a few. This was a very demanding and stressful job but also very rewarding.
I started using Sophrology about 30 years ago when doing equestrian competitions. I soon realised that life in general can be very similar to a sporting event and so put into practise my Sophrology to overcome stress in everyday daily life.
Today I am a Certified Sophrologist and would like to share with you the tools of Sophrology in order to help you manage your life differently. Whether it be simply your well being, preparing for an event or coping with the difficulties in life.
Why?
Sophrology is a so-called "self-empowering" discipline, which aims to lead us towards greater autonomy and freedom - particularly through our life experiences and gentle exercises.
Sophrology helps to relieve the physical and mental tensions associated with all these difficult events, and helps us to come to terms with the situation and accept it.
Sophrology helps you to develop your potential, improve your condition in the event of illness, and enhance your well-being.
It takes into account all three dimensions of our being: body, mind and emotions. Sophrology enables us to become aware of our internal state, of what is good for us, and of the means and assets we have at our disposal to achieve it.
What?
Sophrology is a mind-body method used as a therapeutic technique or as a way of being. It was founded by the neuropsychiatrist Alfonso Caycedo and is inspired by both Western and Eastern techniques.
SOS = Harmony / Balance PHREN = Mind / Consciousness LOGOS = Study / Science
Sophrology is an exclusively verbal, non-tactile method for becoming aware of one's internal state, of what is good for oneself, and of the means and assets at one's disposal to achieve it. It is based on three processes: muscle relaxation/contraction, controlled breathing and mental suggestion/visualisation of positive images.
It allows you to relax your body and mind, and concentrate on listening to your feelings.
All the resources we need are within us! You already have the key! I'll teach you how to use it.
I'll give you simple, effective tools to help you manage life's challenges or simply rediscover your well-being.

Sessions
The sessions are divided into three parts:
A moment of greetings and exchange.
This allows you to express your needs and desires, and also to tell me about your general state of mind, whether physical, mental or emotional. The exercises will always be adapted at this time by the sophrologist according to your state if necessary. Also, talking about your practice outside the sessions is one of the keys to success.
Exercises.
Dynamic relaxation, based on gentle movements, practised standing or sitting, working on muscle relaxation and controlled breathing. These simple exercises, which can be adapted to everyday life, help you to become aware of your inner self and the power of breathing. It will help you to relax using the body, as well as preparing you for the sophronisation excercises.
Sophronisation, based on mental visualisations, guided by the sophrologist. These can be based on your life experiences, imagination and mental projection to encourage the emergence of feelings that will enable you to make better use of your potential. These positive visualisation exercises are usually practised sitting or lying down.
A time for discussion and closure.
This is another opportunity for you to express the feelings you have experienced during the session, either verbally or in writing. This is also a very important time, as it allows you to gain the awareness you need to make progress.
